Hello.
I like making stuff. You look at some of it here. Maybe you could even buy some.
I'm Saul - aka The Wandering Goblin. Mostly a potter at the moment, but also known to work in wood and metal.
I'm a big fan of making by hand. All of my ceramics are made by hand in a small studio here in Glasgow.
Goblin...?
The Wandering Goblin as a name began as a partial homage to my cat, Pancho.
She is a small beast. When she was especially small and remarkably feral, I affectionately dubbed her "Foul Creature," "Fell beast," and "Little goblin." The wandering part of the name comes from a time before I opened my old coffee shop (under the same name), when I was running pop-up events in all kinds of strange places.
When I closed the shop, I wasn't sure if I should keep the name or start fresh. At the end of the day, we're all just a sum of our experiences, and the pseudonym still felt like it fit.
So, for now, The Wandering Goblin remains.
Anyway, everything I sell helps put food in her bowl and help cover her expensive taste in treats.
(Her favourite are bonito flakes.)
